Class structure 

Story time - We will start our class by reading a story about the country/culture we will be learning about. The stories are chosen because they are a traditional children's story from the country, a folktale, or a true story about the country. 

 

Cultural Exploration - After we read the story we'll check out artifacts, pictures, or clothes about the country/culture. Sometimes we'll even play a traditional game!

 

Arts & Crafts - We will also do some art or craft related to the country/culture or something based on the story. This is an amazing opportunity to take a "souvenir"!

 

Music Time - What better way to end our journey than with music! We will listen/sing/dance (whatever you want to do!) to a traditional song, a newer version of a traditional song or a song that has traditional rhythms or instruments from the country/culture we are exploring that day!
